Woo hoo! Summer is in full swing! The hot and humid weather brings with it the need to quench our thirst and hydrate our bodies more frequently. I don’t know about you, but I get tired of water all the time. As much as I love H2O, I like to switch it up once in a while and add a little more flavor—without adding sugar, caffeine or extra calories to the routine. This refreshing and tasty drink will cool you down and refresh you from the inside out. (And, of course, you can add it to the happy hour menu with a dash of your favorite spirit). Enjoy!

Watermelon Mint Lemonade

Ingredients
3 c. watermelon, cubed
2 c. water
1 Lemon, juiced
½ c. fresh mint

Juice watermelon. Muddle ¼ cup mint in ¼ cup of water and then strain leaves from water. Bundle remaining mint together with string. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher. Hang mint bundle in pitcher to let steep. Add desired amount of ice to serve immediately or chill for up to two hours. Stir before serving.
