To Do: Gary Papa 5K Run

A Father's Day race to benefit a good cause

Here’s a unique way to celebrate Father’s Day: a 5K race to help fight prostate cancer. The 10th annual Gary Papa run will take place on June 17th at the Art Museum, kicking off at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Philadelphia-based organization Prostate Health International, of which 6ABC Sportscaster Gary Papa was a board member; Papa lost his battle with prostate cancer in 2009. Not up for the run? There are also a 5K and one-mile walks. More info is here.

$30, Sunday, June 17th at 8:30 a.m., Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Eakins Oval, Benjamin Franklin Parkway and 23rd Street.
