Alright, Philly—start your engines. Best of Be Well Philly is on!

Just like our friends over at Philly Mag, we’re putting together our own Best of section in the upcoming Be Well Philly magazine out in September. But we want you to get in on the fun. We’ve created a ballot with 10 categories for our Readers’ Choice awards. That means you get to weigh in on your favorite gym, yoga studio, running path, healthy lunch spot and more. Your picks will be coupled with our editors’ picks in the September issue to create one awesome, enormous guide to the best in health and fitness here in the Philadelphia region.

Check out the Best of Be Well Philly ballot and vote now. You can vote once a day, every day, until Friday, June 15th. And here’s why you should: Every time you vote, you’re entered to win two tickets for a fabulous dinner at COOK, an awesome experimental kitchen in Rittenhouse where chefs create incredible meals for an intimate group. Seriously, you don’t want to miss out on this one.

So go vote now, then come back tomorrow and vote again. Deal?

Happy voting, Philly!

I love Lithe Method but please support some new places! Lithe has become too hyper marketed and I need a new place! I just want a great workout not be sold foods, clothing, etc! Thanks Be Well Philly! Keep up the fantastic work!

    • Lauren Kelly says:

You girls that love lithe have GOT to make it down to 20th and Walnut to check out Thrive Pilates, Health and Fitness. This little studio has been growing for years and racking up some of the best, expert instructors from dance, fitness and Pilates in the city. Their intelligent, deep and “can’t get away with anything” workouts are based on knowledge that has stood the test of time for over 90 years, so you won’t get bored like you do at Lithe!

  2. Marielle says:

Although my girlfriends and I love Lithe we were saying that. Leaving your cc at home helps! Where is Ploome at!? It was recommended by a co-worker and I loved it. Such a gem. I wish it was closer to Rittenhouse Square! Good luck to all of the businesses!

  3. Lauren says:

I’m a Pure Barre gal… the teachers are amazing and the workout is a life changer!

  4. Hey all, Lauren Boggi here. Just for the record, Lithe is Philly-grown, world class and I’m really, very proud of that. And, I never hard-sell my clients. There are SO many people that walk in our doors to workout and never purchase food or clothing. Our growth is organic (we’ve never advertised) and our food and clothing are things that have been requested by our clients over time and we offer them as part as a complete lifestyle. I fully support all Philly fitness establishments and embrace our differences and that is hard to come by.

  5. Josie Scarpelli McIntyre says:

I support the place that provides the best environment for health and fitness which is The Lithe Method. It’s a world-class operation. I love the community. The instructors and the workouts. You can’t get any better than that.

  6. Steve says:

Where is Platoon Fitness!!?? PhillyMag just named Mike Smaltz Best of Philly Personal Trainer.

  7. Marita says:

wow. there are a lot of places for me to try! I’ve been doing Pure Barre since my NYC college days and love it, but just tried Ploome & Body Cycle, amazing! Ploome puts a portion of proceeds back into the community, which is pretty neat. Can’t wait to try some of these places this summer. Good luck all!

  8. Di says:

I’m surprised Platoon isn’t on the list! Although it is bittersweet that one of Philly’s best kept secrets has been exposed (well deserved though)! Now if only we could have Mike and Platoon down to Avalon for the summer!

  9. K says:

thank you! looks fun. I will have to check it out. lithe definitely isn’t a boring workout as it does change every month and I commend its growth. I have been going since I 1st moved to Philadelphia just a few years ago. I have established many friendships, have had numerous friends join me, and have spread the word to my NYC family & girlfriends, which certainely would not have happened if I was bored or anywhere close to it. afterall it helped me survive my pcom days! I just would like to hear about some new places. that is all.
