Rittenhouse’s Philly Power Yoga is throwing a party and fundraiser on Friday, September 21st to raise cash for the National Stroke Association. The 75-minute yoga class will be set to DJ-spun tunes, with a dance party (with beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres, of course) to follow. The fundraiser honors local yogi/runner Lisa O’Rear, who suffered a stroke last year; later this fall, she’ll be running the New York City marathon to raise funds for stroke awareness and research. You can register in advance or pay at the door; the entry fee is a tax-deductible donation. More info is here.

$20 for the class, $25 for the class and party, September 21st from 6:15 to 9 p.m., Philly Power Yoga, 2016 Walnut Street, 2nd Floor, Philadelphia.
