Christmas Tree Farms in Pennsylvania

Clark’s Christmas Tree Farm
235 Pusey Mill Road, Cochranville, 610-358-4933

Douglas firs are the specialty at this family-run Chester County farm, which has 35 acres planted with them. Saws are provided, and trees are baled for free. Open Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Colavita Christmas Tree Farm
1761 Dolington Road, Yardley, 215-493-3563

There are five cut-your-own options at this farm: Douglas fir, Norway spruce, Colorado blue spruce, Caanan fir, and eastern white pine. Best part: the farm charges a flat $57 for any size tree you cut yourself. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Hague’s Christmas Trees
755 Forty Foot Road, Hatfield, 215-368-4542

You can cut Douglas firs, Scotch pine, white pine and white spruce Christmas trees. Also on site: wreaths, greenery, holly and winterberry. Open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Heylmun’s Pine Hill Farm

Trees here are a steal: many are priced at $25. Scotch pine, white pine, Norway spruce, Colorado blue spruce and Fraser fir are just some of the species you’ll find. Open daily from 9 a.m. to sundown.

Linvilla Orchards

Delco’s favorite megafarm has cut-your-own trees through December 23rd. You can chop down your own, of course, but staffers will pick it up from the field, bale it and tie it to your car. Cut-your-owns are priced at a flat $59.99. Open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5.

Marsh Creek Tree Farm

Holy trees, Batman: this Chester County farm claims to have 9,600 to choose from. You’ll get a hayride, saw, and complimentary cup of hot chocolate. Trees are priced at $8 per foot. Open Friday from noon to 4:30 and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

McArdle’s Holiday Tree Farm
4316 Mechanicsville Road, Mechanicsville, 215-794-7655

You’ll find over 300 trees on this Bucks County farm, with 11 cut-your-own varieties. Prices range from $45 to $80, depending on size, but you can print off coupons on the website for discounts. Open Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday through Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Note: the cut-your-own fields close at 4:15 p.m.

Old Stone Farm

Trees here are $40 whether you cut your own or snag a pre-cut one. The farm has Douglas and Fraser firs, white pine and blue spruce varieties. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tricolor Tree Farm

Pets are welcome to join you on your Christmas tree-cutting adventure here. This farm has 55 acres of trees to choose from. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until dark.

Tuckamony Farm
6320 Upper York Road, New Hope, 215-862-9510

This farm has been in the cut-your-own biz since 1929. They provide a saw and measuring pole, and eight tree species to choose from. All choose-and-cut trees cost a flat $59; pre-cut ones are also available. Open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Monday.

Westlake Tree Farms

Fraser and Douglas firs are your options here, priced at $9 and $8 per foot respectively. Also on site is a Christmas shop with ornaments and other gift items. Open Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

Yeager’s Tree Farm

There are 10,000 trees to choose from on this farm, from Douglas firs to white pine and more. Trees are drilled for easier set-up. Open daily 9 a.m. to dusk.

Christmas Tree Farms in South Jersey

Belly Acres Christmas Tree Farm

Don’t be discouraged if the trees you see when you pull into the parking lot are small ones; there are plenty of showstoppers further back on this 16-acre farm. All trees here are $46.73 plus tax. Open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Edwards’ Trees, Wreaths and Crafts
338 Jacobstown-Cookstown Road, Wrightstown, 609-758-7729

Prices here range from $40 for a three-to-five-foot tree to $70 for trees nine feet and taller. The farm grows Norway spruce, blue spruce, white pine and Scotch pine. Open daily through Christmas Eve from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Spruce Goose Christmas Tree Farm
194 Bordentown-Georgetown Road, Chesterfield, 609-298-2498

Choose from nine tree species—including the oh-so-European Serbian spruce—at this tree farm. They’ll provide the saws and tree wagons, and will bale and net your tree for easier transport. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Exley’s

Part landscaping company, part tree farm, Exley’s has tons of acreage (and two locations) brimming with Christmas trees. There’s also a kid-friendly Santa Land, with toy trains and more, to keep little ones occupied. Open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 to 5.

Kozy Acres

All tree species and sizes are a flat $50 here, with Douglas fir, concolor fir, Norway spruce and blue spruce all grown on the premises. Open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
