• Uh-oh. The numbers are in, and it ain’t looking good for millennials and our stress levels. According to a new report from the American Psychological Society, young adults between the ages of 18 and 33 (me! me! me!) are the most stressed out cohort in America. The biggest stressors are jobs (or, rather, lack there of) and money (again, lack there of). On a scale from 1 to 10, one being Zen and 10 being pressure cooker, my peers and I score a 5.4—”significantly higher” than the national average of 4.9, according to HealthDay. We’re also apparently wary of the health care system, not particularly enamored with our doctors, and admit that we don’t manage our stress well. Well, sheesh, no wonder we have a stress problem. Thank God it’s Friday.

• Breaking news! Fried foods are bad for you! Of course, you knew already that, but here are two things about fried foods you might not have known: A new study links fried food with prostate cancer (it found that men who ate French fries, fried chicken, fried fish, and/or fried doughnuts once or more a week had a 30- to 37-percent higher risk), and another new study found that diets high in fried and salty foods can increase your risk for stroke by as much as 30 percent. So do yourself a favor and keep the KFC to a minimum.

• Here’s a great way to keep cravings at bay: indulge in snack-size treats. A new study found that small portions of snacks are just as satisfying as large portions—and with way less caloric damage. Women’s Health has more.
