The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation is hosting its ninth annual Sandy Sprint 5K on April 27th. What I like about this race: dogs are welcome!

Race organizers consider the event the original color run. Why? Because participants are encouraged to get decked out in head-to-toe teal—the official odor of the Sandy Rollman foundation. The race takes place in Fairmount Park, starting at the Please Touch Museum. The run starts at 8:30 a.m., but if you get there early, there are festivities like exhibitor tents, a raffle, and a Kids Zone, which opens at 7. After the race, there’s a finish-line party with a DJ and refreshments. Learn more and register here.

$25 for individuals and $40 if you’re running with your dog, April 27th at 8:30 a.m., Please Touch Museum, 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia.
