West Chester Students Organize “Mile of Silence” Walk for Boston

Here's where and when to get involved.

If you can’t make it to tonight’s solidarity run in Center City, perhaps you can pencil in the “Mile of Silence” walk in honor of the Boston Marathon victims happening next Tuesday, April 23rd, in West Chester.

Organized by West Chester University students and staff, the walk kicks off at 7:30 p.m. in front of Wayne Hall at 125 West Rosedale Avenue. From there, it’ll loop around the north side of the campus and end in front of the Sykes Student Union at 110 West Rosedale Avenue. The event will end with a candlelight vigil. Organizers are encouraging participants to wear Boston-themed clothes. As of this writing, a Facebook invite already has 135 confirmed participants.
