The Color Run Is Coming to Atlantic City

The race is in October, but registration opens in May.

If you dropped the ball on registering for the now-sold-out Color Run in Philly in July, you have a second chance: Race organizers announced late yesterday that The Color Run will, um, run in Atlantic City on October 19th.

The race will take place at Bader Field on a (semi-confusing-looking) 5K course with four color-blast stations. At each kilometer, runners, who come dressed in white, will be blasted with a colored-cornstarch powder that covers them from head to toe. At the end of the race, they’ll look like walking rainbows—or, rather, that rainbows threw up on them while they walked around. Both interpretations work.

The Philly race filled up pretty quickly this year, so I’m expecting that spots for the AC one will go fast, too. Registration opens on May 1st; once it goes live, you’ll be able to register here.
