New School Meets Old School: Ultimate Summer 2013 Workout Playlist
Holy moly, it’s a steamer out there today, guys. Which means? Summer is here! I’m getting in the Shore frame of mind (hello, bikini bod) with a whole new playlist of workout-worthy tunes to keep me amped to sweat, even as the temps begin to soar.
And let me just say: The playlist below might be my finest work yet. For those of you who crave the newest jams (David Guetta, Ne-Yo and Akon all on one track!?) laced with bumping electronic beats from Tiesto and Avicii, the first half is for you. For those who can’t help but sing Nelly’s “It’s gettin’ hot in here…” when the thermometer reads 80 degrees, take a listen to the second half of the playlist, full of hip-hop, pop and dance throwbacks from the 90’s and early 2000’s.
