Moms: Breastfeed Your Kid at Cloth This Weekend for World Breastfeeding Week

On Friday and Saturday, the new baby store, Cloth, on East Passayunk Avenue in South Philly, is hosting a local gathering of the Big Latch On, an international breastfeeding event which will bring moms and babies to locations around the world to breastfeed together at exactly the same time. The two-part event is part of World Breastfeeding Week, happening today through August 7th. Although Cloth will host groups of moms both days, the Friday slots are already filled, but you can still register to take part on Saturday.

Saturday’s latch on will happen at 10:30, but festivities at Cloth get underway at 9:45 a.m. There will be refreshments, raffle and door prizes, and a photography exhibit by artist Tammy Bradshaw called Breastfeeding in Philadelphia.
