Hello, brides!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

And not just because it’s the holidays—because it’s time for Wedding! (Well, and we come out twice a year, so I guess, really, it’s one of two most wonderful times of the year, if we’re being picky. But whatever.) Our spring/summer 2012 issue of Philadelphia Wedding has arrived in the office—and on Monday, December 12th, it’ll be arriving on a newsstand near you!

It’s definitely a little weird to be celebrating the warm-weather season just as we begin to head into the chill and gray that marks a Philly winter—but we can’t help but feel brightened by this issue, all the same. We’ve got tons of gorgeous gowns to show you, all of them perfect for your spring or summer nuptials. (The gorgeous gown on our cover was actually shot on the beautiful grounds of Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, where so many of you seem to get engaged!) We’ve got different bouquet styles to show you, sweet ideas—other than cake!—to suggest for your Big Day dessert, and four friggin’ awesome real weddings to share with you. And the honeymoon section? All the destinations we covered this time around have got one thing—and two words—in common: Private. Islands. And, yes, you are going to want to book your post-nuptial getaway to one of them right away.
