Clever Olympic torch bearer David State conspired with relay organizers and security officials to propose to his eight-months-pregnant girlfriend as he carried the torch between Marske-by-the-Sea and Loftus in northern England this past Monday.
It’s so cute, and she’s clearly shocked—but his timing didn’t exactly allow for a lot of celebrating, as he had to hop back off his knee and continue on with the run as soon as her “Yes!” was secured. Watch the video here:
