Reem Acra Designs Two Wedding Gowns For Jennifer Aniston

Let the hypothetical gown designs begin!

It seems every time an especially fabulous (especially an especially fashionista-y) celebrity gets engaged, gown designers start popping out of the woodwork clutching sketches of the wedding-dress silhouettes (of their own design, natch) they think said especially fabulous engaged celebrity should wear. First up for the newly engaged Jennifer Aniston is Reem Acra.

The well-loved designer has offered up two designs for the soon-to-be Mrs. Theroux—one, a mega ballgown with a tiered pouf, and two, a more fitted strapless trumpet.

Since we think pretty much anything Ms. Acra makes is beyond lovely, we have no doubt that either of these gowns, if they ever came to life, would be just that—but personally, we’re not sure we see Jen in either one of them. Her style is so minimal and chic; both of these seem like maybe a little too much dress. But we shall see, won’t we?

What do you think of these sketches? Could you see her in either one of them?
