Jessica Biel Wore a Pink Giambattista Valli Gown To Marry Justin Timberlake

This issue of People is on newsstands now.

Lo, the Dress!

Well, as promised, People has come out today with its issue covering the blessed nuptials of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, and, according to the cover—and the press release in my inbox at the crack of dawn this morning—the new Mrs. Timberlake rocked a pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture wedding gown. It was strapless, made of silk mousseline and silk organza, had a floral motif and ruffles. They even worked the bride’s heirloom pearls into her veil.

First of all, I need to see a picture of the dress with her standing—the one on the cover, which is all I have right now, just isn’t enough for me to make a full judgement—but in general, I think I’m surprised that she wore pink. Obviously, I don’t know her—but I can’t say I would have thought of her as a pink-wearing bride. My personal feelings on that particular hue aside, I do enjoy that she wore a colored gown, and that she did something a little different. That is always cool.

So what do you think, brides? Do you like her dress in general? Would you personally ever wear a pastel gown?
