If you are a bride who plans on doing any sort of DIY beauty on your wedding day, as we’ve mentioned before, our hats are off to you. (Though please please just be sure you really want to do this, and that you build in soooooo much time to do it so as not to feel rushed and start freaking out.)

Some girls, we realize, though, actually are excellent at doing their own hair and makeup—girls we are not-so-quietly envious of—and so it really makes sense for them to style themselves in this way on their Big Day. That’s why we had to share this great slideshow from Refinery 29 that features five gorg bridal updos, complete with tips from celeb hair stylist Oscar Blandi on how to do them yourself, and with what products and equipment.

I mean, we can still hardly braid our own hair, but if this is your jam, you’re bound to find something in there you’ll want to try out on yourself and see if it makes the cut for how you’ll do you ‘do before you walk down the aisle.
