Your groom has, perhaps, pulled a few moves during your engagement that have made you less than happy. And hey, he might even manage to be less than charming at some point on your wedding day, depending on how many shots his groomsmen feed him—but we think we can safely say he won’t do anything this stupid.
A recent groom in Japan not only invited his virtual girlfriend to his real wedding—no, seriously, she’s from the Nintendo DS dating sim Love Plus—he even set a place for her at one of the tables. You know, theoretically, so she could virtually enjoy the filet and beautiful centerpiece.
Why this little situ even got this far—I mean, the bride would have been involved in the table arrangements, right? Certainly no groom goes rogue when it comes to that?—is beyond me, but apparently, the bride chose their reception to declare her unhappy feelings about all of this, the bride and groom ended up smashing said Nintendo DS together with a wooden mallet (which was, what, in their wedding planner’s emergency kit?), and, we can only imagine, rode off into the sunset to live happily ever after.
Good one, huh?
