The Gay Side of Hulu

Hulu may be one of the best places online to catch your favorite TV shows and movies, but this week the online network partnered with here!, a gay television subscription service, and Wolfe Video – an LGBT film distributor – to deliver many more LGBT-themed movies and specials on Hulu Plus. YouTube Movies also added an LGBT category recently, where you can find such flicks as Another Gay Movie, Children of God and Latter Days.

“Making such groundbreaking and popular LGBT files available and accessible to a wider audience can have a tremendous impact on LGBT people longing to see relatable stories on screen,” says GLAAD President Herndon Graddick.

Hulu’s new here! category means that more gay programming is ripe for streaming, including the original series She’s Living for This, starring drag queen Sherry Vine, and the political talk show For & Against, which is hosted by Jim Morrison. Other programming includes talk show Just Josh, Behind the Bar – a series about nightlife – and Food Fetish, an oh-so-gay culinary show. Plus more movies – both new and classic – are also being added to the mix from, Wolfe, the largest exclusive LGBT film distributor in the country.
