John Waters may be best known for his camp comedies about “the filthiest people alive,” many of which made drag star Divine famous. But this proud Baltimore native recently sat down at the famous City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco to celebrate Banned Books Week. Here, he reads a very sultry excerpt from Lady Chatterely’s Lover by oh-so-gay D.H. Lawrence. as only he possibly can.
