In today’s issue of the Philadelphia Business Journal, reporter Sharon Oliver  reveals positive findings from a study she did on gay-friendly businesses in Philly. The data group isn’t huge, but out of the 33 businesses that responded to her poll, nearly all rated themselves either “extremely-friendly” or “friendly” to the LGBTQ community.

Among the top-ranked is a handful of our faves, like Gayborhood exercise hub Unite Fitness, Siaani Hair Salon in Rittenhouse and Philly Cupcake — the cute little corner spot, on 11th and Chestnut streets, with the fashion-forward, Gaga-esque mannequin in the window.
