G Philly’s guide to what’s shaking later this evening.

Over the river and through the woods, to Tavern on Camac's Mesh Shorts Party I go.

When you’ve finished your early-evening workout tonight, don’t bother heading to the locker room to change out of your mesh shorts — go party in them!  Josh Can’t Cook food blogger Josh Schonewolf is hosting Hot Mesh: Are You a Hot Mesh? and he’s inviting folks to show up in their gym shorts for his special Vitamin Water martinis. DJ Eli will be spinning tunes. 7 p.m., free (BYOMesh), Tavern on Camac, 243 S. Camac St.

Frank Ocean singing "Forrest Gump" on last night's Grammy Awards.

Whether your favorite artist won big at the Grammy’s last night or not, you can celebrate their nomination at Sing Your Life’s Grammy Karaoke party. The first 10 people to sing from the award ceremony’s long list of performers, nominees and winners gets a free drink ticket. 9 p.m., free, Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar, 200 S. 12th St.

Every Monday is gay and lesbian night at Watusi Lounge in West Philly — a great choice if you’re looking to get out of the Gayborhood and meet guys and gals in another neck of the woods. There are tons of drink specials and music will be provided by DJ Truth. 6 p.m.-2 a.m., free, 4600 Walnut St.
