State Representative Brian Sims is extending his office hours on Wednesdays to host “special presentations by local leaders and organizations” and give neighbors a chance to get to know the Philly representative and his staff. Each gathering lasts from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., beginning with a meet-and-greet before the hour-long informational session starts at 6 p.m.
Tonight’s presentation, “Tax Help 101,” will be led by The Campaign for Working Families. Upcoming workshops include Heating and Utility Assistance (March 13), Senior Health Benefits (March 20) and Empowering Social Entrepreneurs & Non- Profits (March 27).
