You better get on the ball if you want to take part in the spring semester of Way Gay U, William Way Community Center‘s recurring series of “life-enrichment programming.” Registration on certain classes is closing as I type.

This year’s itinerary includes a class schedule that ranges from goofy to fun to informative, starting on March 18 with Michael Flynn’s eight-week “Beginners Line Dancing.” If that sounds fun, you’re SOL. The deadline to register was yesterday. But there are tons of other fun workshops still up for grabs, like queer-relationship guru Doug Hilton’s “Finding Mr. Right” (April 10, $25-$40),”  author and health coach Claire Baker‘s “Learning the Basics of Eating Gluten-Free” (April 30, $15-$35), and hilarious and always-popular “Homorobics” (May 1-June 5, $60-$130), led by perky choreographer Craig Scull.

If you’re in the giving mood, the tech-illiterate in your life could benefit from Digital Diva Nina Epstein’s “Mastering the iPhone” (March 30-April 13, $35-$50), and Susan Lonker could teach your favorite drag queen a thing or two about being on time at “Time After Time: Task and Time Management Skills” (April 24-May 1, $80-$95). It probably won’t do any good, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.

Roll over to the William Way site for more class info, deadline dates and links to purchase tickets.

  1. I do accept as true with all of the ideas you have offered in your post. They are very convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are very short for newbies. May you please extend them a little from next time? Thanks for the post.
