In a video released today by the Human Rights Campaign, once and possibly future (fingers crossed!) presidential candidate Hillary Clinton confirmed her support for marriage equality. This doesn’t come as a big surprise, given her 2011 speech at the United Nations in Geneva, where she famously declared to the world that “gay rights are human rights.”

In the video, she says she supports marriage equality “personally and as a matter of policy and law, embedded in a broader effort to advance equality and opportunity for LGBT Americans and all Americans.” She goes on to say that gay and lesbian people ”are our colleagues, our teachers, our soldiers, our friends, our loved ones. … And they are full and equal citizens and deserve the rights of citizenship — that includes marriage.”

I freaking adore this woman. Check out the entire video above.
