First Lesbian Couple Marries in Montgomery County
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that two lesbian couples took advantage of Montgomery County Register of Wills D. Bruce Hanes offer to extend marriage licenses to any gay couple who wants them. The first couple in line was Loreen Bloodgood and Alicia Terrizzi of Pottstown. After they applied, the Inky reports, the gals took their two sons to a park in North Wales and made it official in front of a licensed non-denominational minister.
