Should I be in shape before I start working with a trainer?
I hear from a lot of people: “I would love to workout with you but I have to get in shape first.” That response always baffles me, My job as a trainer is be a catalyst to help build up and get you ready for high-intensity training. I train people of all ages and fitness levels. Everyone starts somewhere.

I’m working out five times a week and eating healthy, and I’m not seeing any weight loss. Why?
I hear this question all the time. This basically comes down to what people believe to be healthy-eating habits and what are actually healthy-eating habits. I recommend keeping a daily calorie log. The first week should track what you normally eat and drink on a daily basis. People are usually are surprised to see how many calories they consume; it’s usually much higher than they expected. For week two, take out or replace food with healthier options. This should put you back on track to your weight loss goal.
