Taste of the Nation Ticket Discount!

Attend this culinary fundraiser for less

Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation culinary fundraiser comes to Philadelphia’s Loews Hotel on Monday, June 21st. The benefit — which brings together Philly’s premiere chefs and mixologists — raises funds to help eliminate childhood hunger. Chef Chair Jennifer Carroll (recent Top Chef finalist and chef de cuisine at 10 Arts) will host the event, which includes participants like Amis, Bibou, Fork, Lacroix, and Mémé. Tickets are $85 ($95 at the door) for general admission and $125 ($135 at the door) for VIP admission, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Share Our Strength. But for Restaurant Club readers, there’s a special 15 percent discount on general admission tickets. Read on for details!

To purchase tickets with the special discount, visit the Taste of the Nation website and add as many tickets as you’re purchasing to your cart, when you proceed to checkout, there’s an option to enter a promotional code. Type Philly Mag (it’s case-sensitive) into the box and the 15 percent discount will be applied. VIP tickets are exempt from this special discount.

In addition to the many food options, there are drinks as well, including select wines, beers from Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, and Leffe, and cocktails designed by mixologists from Amada and Rum Bar, among others. There will also be silent and live auctions for restaurant gift certificates and hotel stays, and live music from Philadelphia-based jazz ensemble Métisse. VIP patrons can sip champagne and sample a raw bar from the Oyster House.

The event directly benefits local hunger-relief charities  Philabundance, The Food Trust, The Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger, and The Pennsylvania Hunger Action Center. If you can’t make the event, but would still like to contribute, TOTN accepts donations through its website.
