Five unusual versions of the ultimate hangover cure

Everyone has their favorite style of Bloody Mary: some like it spicy, some go for a heavy dose of the Worcestershire. Personally, we like a glass of vodka and horseradish, with just a touch of tomato juice for color and a pile of celery salt — it’s basically more boozy sludge than cocktail.

It’s easy to get a good Bloody Mary in Philly, but some restaurants are serving some truly unusual twists on the classic — using everything from house-made aquavit to grated chorizo. We highlighted five of our favorites in the November issue of Philly mag.
