Ultimate Guide to (Someone Else Cooking) Thanksgiving Dinner

Why make turkey when you can make reservations?

Let’s talk turkey — as in, somebody else making it. We know, we know. Thanksgiving is a labor of love, where we’re all supposed to bask in the bronzed glow of a gorgeous bird and the fluffiest mashed potatoes in all of the land because this is what the pilgrims did right before they crowded on the couch in their funny hats to watch hours of football and sleep off the hangovers they incurred the night before, a tradition they brought over on the Nina, Pinta and the Santa Maria, colloquially known as The Biggest Drinking Night of the Year.

But sometimes, some years,  you just … can’t do it. And that’s when you thank your sweet puppies that you live in America, where you can just pick up the phone and make reservations. Or order up a pre-made T-Day feast from your favorite restaurant or gourmet market. There’s no judgment here (it’s the Restaurant Club, after all, not the Cooking Club — if you’re looking for healthy Thanksgiving recipes, visit our sister site, Be Well Philly), so click on through for a list of restaurants and gourmet marketing serving Thanksgiving dinner so you don’t have to.
