Last week I had the pleasure of driving out to Terrain at Styer’s with my partner Matt to meet and greet with Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Dr. Brent Ridge of Green Planet TV show, The Fabulous Beekman Boys. They were exactly who I wanted them to be: cute, charming and well-dressed. A seemingly endless line of adoring fans formed for pictures, autographs and words of wisdom (e.g.: “How do I make my farm work?”). While there, we had lunch at Terrain’s café: delicious. Sitting down for fresh-picked veggies and fruits had another bonus: It gave me time to scope out what the locals in the burbs were styling on a Saturday afternoon. The next day, I did my thing at the Gayborhood Street Festival, where I found some serious city-chic.

Street Style this week seemed more personal than ever. And by personal I mean “personal style.” These chicos and chicas really know what they love to wear! Whether it’s Forever 21, American Apparel, J. Crew, Target, or Anthropologie, it’s not where you got it and how much it cost — it’s how you rock it! Click on the pic to see more.

Is this for real? Is this Jimmy guy a joke?

  3. Jenn says:

Jimmy is fabulous and has great style. It’s not his fault he can’t always find the most stylish people. Remember – we live in Philly.
