Out and About
Rally with President Obama and special musical guest The Roots Sunday at Robert Fulton Elementary School. Vice-President Joe Biden is also on the ticket now, which is odd since I thought the President and Vice-President never appeared together as a rule. Doors open at 3 p.m. You must RSVP.

Just in time for Halloween giving: Jesse James’s tattoo goddess Kat Von D rolls into town to sign her new book The Tattoo Chronicles Thursday, October 28th at 6 p.m. at the Rittenhouse Barnes & Noble.

Project Runway co-host and Liz Claiborne Chief Creative Officer Tim Gunn is hosting 2010 fall fashion show on Saturday, October 30th at 2 p.m. at King of Prussia Mall at Nordstrom Court. Plus, with any qualifying purchase between Oct. 24th and Oct. 30th of $150 or more, guests will receive a copy of the graphic novel Models Inc. and complimentary gifts including new fragrances from Juicy Couture and Kate Spade New York, and will be professionally photographed with Tim Gunn on the runway!

I guess David Beckham wanted easy access to 95; he spent the days leading up to the game with the Philadelphia Union bunked at the Hyatt Penns Landing, I hear.

Not Happening Tonight: Originally tonight was going to be Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett’s Welcome to Philadelphia Party at R2L, hosted by chef Daniel Stern and Liberty Residences. When Hank was traded, folks scrambled to re-brand the night as a “Going Away Party.” An insider told me last week that Kendra isn’t too happy that the Eagles released Hank from his contract, and he doubted there would be any party. I got word a few days ago from my “date” that it was indeed canceled. Bummer.
