Students Protest School Changes
First it was students from West. Now, Audenreid
Pissed-Off Kids. More than 40 students from Audenreid High School gathered in front of the School District headquarters this morning to protest plans to convert the school to a “Promise Neighborhood Partnership School.” This outcry comes on the heels of last week’s protest from students at West Philadelphia High School. The always-supportive School District announced that they are “sensitive to the fact that emotions are running high in the face of this change,” but stopped short of passing out sanitary napkins.
