What? You expected a handwritten letter to the editor?
A few weeks ago, the Scoop begged the universe to teach the Daily News how to use Twitter correctly. The universe has answered those prayers. This afternoon, @PhillyDailyNews went back and forth with @PhillyEducation (the school district’s official Twitter handle) in a debate over today’s DN cover, which features superintendent Arlene Ackerman wielding a chain saw. Night City Editor Josh Cornfield jumps into the fight along with @HotButton, the DN’s weird attempt at controversial tweeting. It’s ridiculous and amazing. See it for yourself here. [h/t Phawker]
