One of Philly’s Finest Faces Another Lawsuit. Philadelphia police officer Deona Carter—known mostly for the controversy caused by her racy MySpace pictures in which she’s wearing her police hat—is facing her third lawsuit since October. Allegedly, Carter filed charges against her cousin after a debate over custody of the cousin’s baby. Carter previously accused two men in two separate instances of assault after arguments and is being sued for both while simultaneously being investigated by Internal Affairs for her MySpace pictures. Six Injured After Basketball Game Shooting. Last night, someone opened fire on a crowd of 500 gathered at a Southwest Philly rec center for a basketball game. At least six people were injured and taken to HUP. Most are stable, but one man hit in the stomach was in critical condition. [CBS 3]
Temple Doc Convicted of Fraud. Dr. Joseph J. Kubacki was convicted Monday of 150 counts of fraud and falsifying health-care statements. Kubacki used to be the chairman of Temple University School of Medicine’s ophthalmology department. [Philadelphia Business Journal]

E-Z Passes to Be Sold in Retail Locations? The Turnpike Commission is working on getting the sale of E-Z Passes into Walmart and Wegmans locations throughout the state. E-Z Passes may become more popular in January with the new extra 10-percent charge on all vehicles not using the devices. [WHYY]
Pennsylvania Wins Little League World Series Game 10-0. Things are heating up and winding down in Williamsport, Pennsylvania—site of the Little League World Series. Pennsylvania’s team is still in the mix and helped their cause by routing Louisiana last night.
