Honestly, the Scoop does not care if you agree or disagree with President Obama, but the Scoop does think it would be nice–at least if you’re a sitting U.S. senator–if you showed up for goddamned work. Tonight, Louisiana Republican Senator David Vitter is skipping (read: boycotting) the Prez’s address to Congress so that he can watch football.
“I’m going to be watching from my family room in Metairie, Louisiana because I have a Saints game party there and I’m absolutely going to be there for the big game,” he said.
Sitting. United States. Senator. Could somebody just shoot the Scoop now? Please?
