Joe and Sue Paterno made their annual $100,000 donation to the Paterno Liberal Arts Undergraduate Fellows Program and the Paterno Library last month. The donation was made only a month after the university fired Joe Paterno as head coach of the Nittany Lions football team amid the alleged sexual abuse and subsequent cover-up scandal involving Jerry Sandusky, university officials, and possibly Joe Paterno.
