Governor Christie Wants Gay Marriage Amendment on November Ballot
Today, Governor Christie held a press conference in Bridgewater to announce that he wants gay marriage to be a proposed constitutional amendment on November’s presidential ballots. If that doesn’t happen, he indicated that he would veto the gay marriage bill passed by the New Jersey state legislature. Instead, he said he would opt for a statewide referendum on the issue.
