Do the Phillies Want Their Own Television Network?

The Inquirer‘s Matt Gelb has penned (typed?) a piece discussing the possibility of the Phillies branching out into the television business. Crossing Broad’s Kyle Scott took that a step further and suggested the Phils might be in a position to hop on the “iTV” train before it leaves the station.The Phillies have a TV contract with Comcast that will expire in 2015 and—as other, less successful, less popular teams ink massive deals for their TV rights—Phillies ownership is probably salivating.
