Dennis Gomes—a co-owner of Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City—has passed away at the age of 68. Gomes and a business partner purchased Resorts in 2010 and saved it from going under. He was also known for busting up the mob while he was a prosecutor in Las Vegas. The Martin Scorsese film Casino is based on his exploits. [6 ABC]
