Report: Andy Reid Was Ready to Walk, Wanted Peyton Manning

A column in the L.A. Times cites two anonymous sources who indicated that Eagles coach Andy Reid was ready to walk out on the team if he didn’t get more personnel control. The sources also said that Reid wanted to pursue Peyton Manning. Reid has since delivered a swift, PR-y rebuttal to assure everyone that Michael Vick was and is the guy and that he’s always had a fair hand in personnel control.
