Councilman Kenney’s Twitter Firm. Councilman Jim Kenney is up on the Twitter, but needs help to ensure that he’s using it properly. That’s why he’s giving nearly $30,000 in taxpayer money to Center City-based company ChatterBlast. In exchange, the company monitors Kenny’s Twitter feed and Facebook page and develops his “social-media strategy.” [Daily News]

Girard College President to Step Down. Autumn Adkins Graves has announced her intention to resign from her post as president of Girard College. The 39-year-old is the first female and first African-American president in the school’s history. She cited family concerns and timing as motivating factors for her resignation. [Inquirer]

Politician’s Headquarters Vandalized. Someone threw paint all over the South Philly political headquarters of Damon Roberts.
