Jury Deliberates NJ Weedman Case

A jury resumed deliberation today in the case of NJ Weedman. Weedman—whose real name is Ed Forchion—was arrested for marijuana possession with intent to distribute. He was pulled over for a traffic violation in Mount Holly two years ago and police discovered a brick of marijuana in his trunk. NJ Weedman points out that he has a medical marijuana card in California and that the drugs were for personal use to alleviate pain caused by giant cell cancer in his bones. If he’s convicted of possession and intent to distribute, he could face a 10-year prison sentence. [Inquirer]
