The National Weather Service is warning swimmers down the Shore that beaches in Atlantic, Cape May and Monmouth Counties and some in Delaware will experience life-threatening rip currents today. The surf is expected to reach heights of 4 to 7 feet. The warning comes only one day after the body of 10-year-old Khitan Devine washed ashore in Margate. Devine went missing after a rip current pulled him and some family members into danger on Sunday evening. [Philly.com]
