The Coast Guard and other authorities have resumed searches for two swimmers that went missing from Seaside Park and Asbury Park respectively. An 18-year-old man went missing from Seaside Park in the early evening Wednesday after lifeguards had gone home for the night. A 23-year-old man went missing from Asbury Park—lifeguards there begin their season today. Rips currents down the Shore have been dangerously strong, especially for this early in the season.
