Philly Geek Award Nominees Announced

The nominees for the 2012 Philly Geek Awards hosted by the Academy of Natural Sciences and Geekadelphia have been announced. Among the nominees is Philly Post contributor and Philly mag writer at large Patrick Kerkstra. Kerkstra is up for the “Geek Headline of the Year” award that, “honors awesome achievement in covering stories in the local geek scene.” The event is a black tie, red carpet awards show on August 17th at the Academy of Natural Sciences.
