TVs at PSU Suddenly Switched Channels at the Start of the Freeh Press Conference [UPDATE]

People gathered at the Hub at Penn State (the school’s student center) were scrambling to find a place to watch former FBI Director Louis Freeh’s press conference on Thursday morning because as the event was about to begin in Philadelphia, TVs in the building were switched to a public access channel. The presser was set to begin and the televisions were set to CNN, which was covering the event. Then, right when it was about to start, the channels on the TVs changed to show a reporter from Allentown’s The Morning Call discussing the state budget. [Inquirer]

UPDATE: It looks like the public access channel the TVs switched to was supposed to air the Freeh press conference. [Crossing Broad]
