Msgr. Lynn to Be Sentenced. Monsignor William Lynn is expected to be sentenced on Tuesday after a jury convicted him of endangering the welfare of a child. Lynn’s defense attorneys have been lobbying for their client to serve a term of house arrest. Prosecutors want Monsignor Lynn to serve the maximum seven years in a state penitentiary. [Inquirer]
Cop “Tracks Down” Woman He Saw in Traffic. A South Jersey cop is accused of using a national database to track down a woman he saw in traffic. He allegedly sent her a friend request on Facebook and then emailed her identifying himself as a the police officer that had waved to her in traffic. [Daily News]
Former Yahoo Exec Lands at Conshy Firm. Scott Thompson—the former Yahoo prez that was forced to leave after the fiasco over his resumé—has taken a post as the chief executive of ShopRunner, a Conshohocken e-commerce start-up. [Reuters]
Peter Nero Promoted by Philly Pops? Amid the controversy surrounding Nero’s contract, Encore Series has decided to give Nero the new title of “artistic director” and has agreed to a new deal. Effectively, they had tried to oust Nero, but promoted him instead. [Inquirer]
