Wednesday’s “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” brought more than half a million people to the chain’s chicken joints around the country. Sales on August 1st proved to be a record high for the company. But, the company did take time to point out that “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” wasn’t actually a Chick-fil-A promotion.
