Roy Halladay and the Phils were pelted by the Marlins on Wednesday afternoon because that’s just how this season works. The Fins were on a skid and the Phillies had them facing a sweep, with (arguably?) the best pitcher of a generation on the mound, but Ty Wigginton was the only player who could muster any production at the plate. He hit a home run and later added an RBI single. Everyone be surprised that former Phillie Greg Dobbs belted a homer to help the bad guys win this one. [Phillies]
