Jersey School Holds Contest to Find Baby Who Looks Like Springsteen

This has to be the most Jersey thing that’s ever happened in the world. An “early childhood academy” (see: fancy preschool) in Freehold is holding a contest to find a kid who’s a dead ringer for Bruce Springsteen. Children up to six years old can enter the contest, where they’ll be asked to don a Springsteen costume and do their best impression of The Boss. The winner gets $500 for his or her piggy bank and a free month of childcare at The Learning Experience, and bragging rights(?) for life. Seriously, if you win a Springsteen look-alike contest as a baby, it will follow you for the rest of your life. People don’t forget. Apparently 20 kids have already signed up.
